“Opacity Field” has its origin in the context of the CAB Patagonia residency, Puerto Yartou, Tierra del Fuego.

In the installation the videos are displayed on screens hanging from a truss structure, which functions as a division and gateway to the space, the spectators can walk underneath the work.

The vertical video contains all the photographs generated during the period of CAB residency in Tierra del Fuego (2,000 images), which were subjected to a process of degradation leaving only traces of them visible, and then exhibiting all the material deliberately without any selection criteria, by means of a continuos scroll.

On the other hand, the panoramic video exhibits the night material of Tierra del Fuego, which through a process of image manipulation, is transferred to the realm of fiction.
